FAQS
IS PERMANENT MAKEUP SIMILAR TO TATTOOING?
It has some of the same qualities, yet it is very different. Only specialists in micro-pigmentation can perform this procedure on the face; tattoo artists cannot. Sydney at Morph Body Arts uses only the techniques, tools, and pigments specifically designed for micro-pigmentation procedures, making it safe, sterile, and painless. Permanent makeup clinicians also use effective topical anesthetics that are not allowed for use by tattoo artists. Permanent-Line uses instruments much more delicate in design that provide natural-looking results.
IS PERMANENT MAKEUP A SAFE PROCEDURE?
At Morph Body Arts, the procedures are performed under sterile conditions, using only disposable needle cartridges and with digitally controlled implantation device. There are no long-term side effects; short-term effects may include some redness, swelling, and tenderness. There are no known allergic reactions to pigments.
IS THERE ANY DISCOMFORT ASSOCIATED WITH THE PROCEDURE?
At Morph Body Arts, Sydney uses topical anesthetics that are highly effective to be applied to the treated area which significantly reduces discomfort. Typically, patients will report a tickling sensation with little or no discomfort during or after a procedure has been performed.
Please be aware when booking a lip procedure, if you have ever had an outbreak of fever blisters at any point, you must consult with your doctor for a prescription of Valtrex or similar product prior to your procedure.
HOW LONG DOES THE PROCEDURE TAKE TO COMPLETE?
The average time required for a procedure is between 3 to 4 hours. Everyone has different anatomy when it comes to their facial structure and features, so please be patient and trust your artist. DO NOT try to rush the procedure. Touch up Appointments may take less time.
HOW IS THE SPECIFIC DESIRED LOOK AND SHADES OF COLORING DETERMINED?
Morph Body Art's artist Sydney will conduct an extensive consultation regarding both the exact contouring and coloring desired. We will recommend the specific treatment and shades to best complement your own skin tones, hair color, wardrobe, and lifestyle. Additionally, we will demonstrate expected results by applying penciled makeup on you before implanting the color into the skin.

Lips: 1-3 Years
Eyeliner: 3 - 5 Years

Results can vary and are not guranteed
Gradual fading can be expected for all micro-pigmentation procedures. This varies among people and is dependent on the specific shade used, personal care routine and sun exposure. Most colors last three to five years, although some may not fade for as long as 10 years. Periodic touchups are recommended to maintain the desired look. You can also choose to change colors of your permanent makeup. For instance, a nude lip color can be modified to a peachy pink or a brown eyeliner to a black or navy hue.
HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT BEFORE I CAN HAVE PERMANENT MAKEUP APPLIED AFTER BOTOX, INJECTABLES, CHEMICAL PEELS OR LASER TREATMENTS?

You cannot receive any of these procedures while pregnant and/or breast feeding.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY COSMETIC PROCEDURE?
With every appointment scheduled I will send you pre care instructions before your appointment as well as carefully go over your aftercare instructions post appointment. All Pre and Post Care instructions are also listed on the site if you have any further questions. The healing process is just as important as the procedure itself so please follow the instructions as stated and given to insure optimal healing results.
WHY DOES YOUR FIRST TIME REQUIRE 2 SESSIONS? IS THE SECOND SESSION NECESSARY?
Absolutely, you MUST schedule and keep your second appointment to ensure the best results. PMU pigments are designed to fade 40%-60%, unlike regular tattoo pigments, so they give a natural and healed result. In order to make sure your skin did not reject too much pigment or healed un even in any spots, you must come back for the second procedure to have them properly analyzed, corrected and perfected for the second healing cycle.
WHAT IF I AM NOT HAPPY WITH MY PERMANENT MAKEUP?
With every Permanent Makeup Procedure offered, there will be consent forms to sign. We Will carefully talk through the process and I will also carefully and methodically take my time mapping out what I am doing. Once I am done with my pre-draw, I will let my client examine it and consent to it before moving forward with the procedure. Please note that once I have your approval on a color and shape, and have begun the procedure, you cannot go back. If you decide later on after healing time is done that you are unhappy, I can always refer you to a specialist who offers removal. Please be mindful though that I take a lot of pride in my work and I would never do anything that a client DID NOT approve of first.
WILL DOING LIP BLUSH MAKE MY LIPS BIGGER?
Lip Blush is not recommended as a fix for Lip Augmentation. If you are wanting fuller lips, i suggest getting Filler injections a few weeks before your scheduled appointment. Lip Blush is only for adding a beautifully tinted color look to your natural lip as well as fix any asymmetry. Your Lips will swell during the first 48 hours after the procedure, but the swelling will subside.
ANY AGE REQUIREMENTS?
You must be atleast 18 years of age with a valid photo I.D.

Deposits are non-refundable to hold appointment times and to protect my time. Once it has been past 6 months it will be forfeited and you will have to pay a new deposit to reschedule.
